DoubleDutch exhibited at 2016 AIME in Melbourned to learn more about the concerns of today's industry professionals, and share with them the solutions that DoubleDutch event apps can offer.

Event marketers and industry decision makers gathered in the much needed air conditioning of the Convention and Exhibition centre, with the mercury reaching 40 degrees celsius on day 1 for trade networking, education, and business adventures across Australia, Asia-Pacific and the rest of the globe.

With AIME being one of the most respected event shows in Australia, it certainly started the year off great for us.

AIME gave us – along with over 500 other exhibitors – a platform to connect with thousands of event professionals to showcase our product to the Australian Market. Even more exciting for us was the opportunity to set up 1-to-1 meetings with key contacts and accounts via the hosted buyer program. These conversations, along with those generated by interested parties walking up to our booth, kept our team busy and engaged in some fantastic conversations.

So what did we learn?

It is clear the event industry is looking for higher engagement and value out of their event programmes. Delegates of the show came to our booth looking for new ways to increase audience participation and close the feedback loop important to demonstrate ROI.
