For 114 years, the Navy League of the United States has supported and advocated for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S.-Flag Merchant Marines. The organization’s flagship event is a global maritime exposition known as Sea-Air-Space. As the Navy League’s Staff VP of Corporate Affairs and Manager of the Sea-Air-Space Expo, Kevin Traver wanted to streamline the Expo experience for the more than 250 exhibitors and nearly 10,000 attendees. He also wanted a technology platform to promote social media exposure, furthering awareness about the goals of the Navy League. These goals led him to DoubleDutch.
"I had been working up on Capitol Hill in the tradeshow business here for the Navy League. And about four years ago I said ‘hey, we have no social media presence whatsoever.’ At that time, we had nothing."

Expo Sets Its Target on Gaining Insight
Sea-Air-Space Expo brings the U.S. defense industry, private-sector, and key military decision makers together for three days every year. Kevin saw DoubleDutch as a great way for these varied entities to interact beyond the physical tradeshow floor. Soon, Kevin recognized that the DoubleDutch app was robust enough to drive added value for not only himself, but attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors alike.
