Your event venue is one of the most defining aspects of your event. It sets the mood, starts the conversation and gets people excited for the day ahead. So finding one that you and your attendees absolutely love is critical. That’s why we are kicking off The Venue Series, where we share our favorite event venues in cities across the U.S and why we love them. And what better place to start than in our very own hometown of San Francisco. These one-of-a-kind spots run the gauntlet from off the beaten path restaurants to concert spaces and even a hotel. But they all have one thing in common, a guaranteed unforgettable experience for your attendees.

Check out our five most beloved SF spots below!

Why we love it: The Cookhouse is all about making your life easier. Not only is their space perfect for an intimate get together, they also include A/V in your reservation at no additional charge and can put together packages with in-the-know local chefs for meetings, receptions, or executive dinners. If you do need an extra hand they provide Event Assistants and a-la-carte coordination services for small events outside of Cookhouse.

Why we love it: This venue, at 9,000+ square feet, is one of the most versatile on the list; with a main floor, mezzanine, rooftop garden terrace, full catering kitchen and in-house bar it’s hard not to make this place work for you. Check out this virtual tour if you aren’t convinced.

Neighborhood: SOMA

Capacity: 50-100

Event Type: Internal offsite/planning meeting, internal marketing campaign launch site, sales kickoff, hackathon

Why we love it: The Garage website probably puts it best: “The Garage is like a 21st century spin on Andy Warhol’s creative lair, The Factory – only in San Francisco.” Formerly a 1930s car garage, this space is indoor, it’s outdoor, it’s stylish and it’s certainly unique.

Neighborhood: Fisherman’s Wharf

Capacity: Events of all sizes up to 500

Event Type: Your first user conference, Customer Advisory Board, sales kickoff, product launch party

Why we love it: Yes, it’s a hotel. No, you have never seen anything like it. It’s like you’re in an art gallery, on a cruise ship with the best game room you have ever seen. And it’s VERY San Francisco. Trust us, this hotel is a winner.
