So how do you do it?
Start with pre-event buzz. Once attendees have filled out registration forms, made payments, etc., make it easy for them to share with their friends and colleagues that they’ll be attending. Keep the connections going after the event has finished. Attendees have put a ton of time and effort into creating a community around your event. Encourage them to keep the spirit alive by using the hashtag even after the event’s close and in preparation for next year’s event. Perhaps you’re planning to send out a post-event survey to find out how you did; ask them to tweet you event hi-lights and suggestions for next year.
