This morning, we officially announced the opening of a DoubleDutch office in London’s Marble Arch neighborhood. Beyond the obvious appeal of fish and chips, cricket (the sport, not the insect) and the Queen, we thought this was a great opportunity to serve and grow DoubleDutch’s large customer base in the UK. We want to be sure that as we expand globally, we are still able to provide them with the same personalised DoubleDutch experience.
We’ve seen a significant rise in UK business in the past year, and it’s no wonder. The London meetings and events industry is booming, generating £5.6 billion to the UK economy annually according to research by the MPI Foundation. And with London establishing itself as a technology and commercial hub, many UK-based event professionals are looking for event technology – like DoubleDutch – to add a digital component to their events.
The timing of this couldn’t be better, with the London office opening just one week before DoubleDutch on Tour, London – our event technology roadshow. DoubleDutch on Tour is a great opportunity to discuss the latest trends in event tech, all while connecting with the best and brightest in the industry. The half-day conference will demonstrate how mobile can impact your event, your delegates, your sponsors… and your bottom line.
Marketing and event professionals will share event technology strategies and best practices, and members of the DoubleDutch team will fly in from around the world to give delegates a glimpse into what lies beyond the world of event apps.
